Ridiculous. This talk that you’re clipping out of context was given March 2012, and had nothing to do with Watson. I think you would be better off if you stopped seeming so obsessive. It creeps me out, and I know I’m not alone.
Ah, I wasn’t aware of the chronology. I feel silly now! I stand corrected.
Still, it’s a phenomenal retort to the #ftbullies. It would work if gave that talk in late 2012. Your comments would pwn Pee Zed, Becky or any of those ideologues.
I really like your point about respecting theist skeptics. (Like Ben Goldacre, I am ap-atheist). If a deist wants to debunk quackery, i welcome them with wide open arms. ((Hugs))
I do what I do, for teh lolz. Now, whilst I think you’re a pretty cool guy, you’re a little bit soft on the clowns. Case in point :

Oh hi, SOBert. Deejay is ridiculously soft on the histrionic drama skepto celeb vic fems; I think so, as do many others, who can’t say so publicly. He’s a bit like a battered wife, speaking figuratively, of course.

I think he’s a top bloke, but that absolutely does not exempt him from constructive criticism!
A couple of months back, Surly Amy claimed she and DJ lived in the same place. I imagine its hard to reprimand someone you see everyday.
It seems he’s bending over backwards trying to placate people. Along with the Novellas & Tim Farley, perhaps he can’t help but give special treatment to snowflakes like Becky, Amy & Rhys.
Distinguished skeptics — you’re being scammed. It’s almost as if these snowflakes are your children and you’re mollycoddling them.
I’m pointing out what swathes of people are saying (albeit mostly privately).
